Question: Basically I am asking for your method. I know you can send them to their room, use the corner or a chair, my brother hold their daughter on their lap. Answer: Make them sit in the corner in minutes equal to their age for each timeout incident. Example: 8 year old child = 8 minute timeout Use an accurate timer. If the child gets up before the timeout ends, restart the timer. It's also important to tell the child what they did wrong and why they were placed in timeout.
