Question: i have 3 children. they are 6, 4, and 2. i have had a problem with them taking food in the night, early morning, or well any chance they get. i've been able to childproof cabinets, but i don't know what to use for my deep freezer. the locks you buy in the store my two oldest figure out in 2 minutes. any suggestions? its just to scary with a freezer! Answer: gosh I know what you mean. I have 3 also. Try a padlock like I did. It involves taking apart your deep freeze door, frezzer insert which is a very lenghty process. and drilling holes. put rubber washers on the inside to continue the insulation. If you do not want to go through all that work, by one with a lock already installed on it. you could also get two to four bike chains (depends on size)and wrap it around like a christmas gift.
