Question: has anyone ever heard of prader willie syndrome? if so, what are the affects? Answer: My little sister has prader willie syndrome! She is 18 now. They are born with little or no muscle tone, but it will improve. As they get older they start wanting to eat all of the time. My mother has locks on the pantry and fridge. She is on a diet (but she is really goo at sneaking food). If you were to ask her, she would tell you about what is wrong with her, but that doesnt mean she can controll the eating with out help. She is a seinor in high school and in special classes. Some prader willies have speech problems, my sister does, but she has always been in speech therapy, so we can understand her just fine. She also has a temper, wich is commen among other prader willies.
